Fiskal Privacy Policy

Fiskal ("the app") is an expense tracker for Serbian fiscal receipts. This document explains what data the app touches and why.
Data the app collects
Receipt data. When you scan a receipt's QR code, the app sends the QR code's URL to Fiskal's backend, which fetches the itemized receipt (merchant, address, tax ID, line items, totals) from suf.purs.gov.rs — the Serbian Tax Administration's (Poreska uprava) public fiscal receipt verification system. This is the same public data anyone can look up by visiting that QR link directly; the app doesn't submit anything the receipt doesn't already contain.
Receipts you save. By default, receipts you save are stored only on your device. If you sign in (optional), your receipts are also synced to Fiskal's backend so they survive a reinstall or are available if you use the app on another device.
Account data. Signing in is optional and uses Sign in with Apple: Apple shares your email address with Fiskal (or a private relay address, if you choose "Hide My Email"), and Firebase Authentication manages the resulting session. No password is collected or stored, and Fiskal doesn't request your name.
Nothing else is collected. The app does not use analytics, ads, trackers, or request access to contacts, location, or photos.
Where data is stored
- Locally on your device (always).
- Cloudflare (D1 database + Workers), only for receipts and account data if you choose to sign in.
- Firebase Authentication, only for the sign-in session itself.

None of these receive more than what's needed to perform their function, and none are used for advertising.
Your choices
You can use Fiskal entirely without signing in — receipts stay local to your device only. Deleting the app removes local data. If you signed in, Settings → Account → Delete account permanently deletes your account and all synced receipts, and revokes Fiskal's access to your Apple ID if you used Sign in with Apple.
